3. Hot Process Soap Making – October 4th

THIS IS NOT A BEGINNER SOAP CLASS. Prior soap making experience is REQUIRED! This class is also a prerequisite for the Making Soap Paste with Dual Lye Workshop on October 10th, 2025.

Expand your journey into the world of soap crafting with our immersive Hot Process Soap Making Workshop. This interactive session is designed to empower participants with the skills and knowledge to master the hot process soap-making technique. Attendees will explore the unique characteristics of hot process soap, learning how to harness heat to accelerate saponification and create distinctive, rustic bars. Guided by experienced artisans, participants will engage in each step of the process, from selecting ingredients like oils and fragrances to understanding the transformative impact of heat on soap formulation. Join us for a dynamic workshop that not only demystifies hot process soap making but also allows you to craft your own personalized, high-quality soaps with confidence.

Students will go home with their creations and a new silicone soap mold on the night of class. All supplies are included.

A 15% discount is available for shopping on the day of your class. 

• Due to insurance regulations we are unable to accommodate minors during soap making workshops where caustic materials are in use. Other workshops are open to minors, ages 12+, with a paid accompanying adult.
• Space in the shop is limited, only paid participants are allowed.
• Workshop fees are non-refundable. Workshops may be rescheduled ONCE without cost. Further rescheduling will incur a $25.00 fee, per occurrence. Due to limited seating, we request you reschedule at least 48 hours before a scheduled class. Failure to reschedule, or not attending, a workshop will result in forfeiture of fees. 
• Mayhem Supply/Greencastle Soap will do everything within its power to maintain its workshop schedule but we must acknowledge that sometimes circumstances make it unavoidable. In the event a workshop must be rescheduled by Mayhem Supply/Greencastle Soap, it will be communicated to the email address and/or phone number provided at registration.
