Make With Me workshops are a new series of classes at Maker’s Apothecary that help broaden the soapy skillsets of our local makers. It gives us the opportunity to learn something new and make something fun, together. Each month brings a fresh design challenge, new techniques to explore, and plenty of laughter along the way. We hold a blind vote on cutting day and the winner gets a prize for crafting the winning soap. October’s workshop gave us this spooky, limited-edition Patchouli & Pomegranate Mummy Soap — a bar as fun to make as it is to use. Inspired by the playful spirit of Halloween, each 5oz bar is wrapped in creamy “bandages” of soap — proof that skincare can be both art and indulgence! Participants learned all about pencil lines, working with soap embeds, and layering techniques to create the distinctive mummy design. The result is a bar that looks as if it’s come straight from an artisan apothecary shelf of magical curiosities.

The scent is an enchanting blend of Patchouli essential oil and Moonlight Pomegranate fragrance, creating a perfect balance between earthy and alluring.
