Located in Spokane Valley, our workshop space has become a gathering place for hobbyists, small business owners, and curious beginners from across Eastern Washington, North Idaho, and Western Montana.
Hands-On Soap Making Workshops
Our soap making workshops cover a wide range of traditional and advanced techniques. Participants learn how to safely work with ingredients, understand soap formulation, and create beautiful handmade bars using time-tested methods.
Workshops include instruction in several soap making processes, such as:
- Cold Process Soap Making – the most traditional method, where oils and lye transform through saponification into rich, long-lasting bars.
- Hot Process Soap Making – a faster method that cooks the soap during production, creating rustic bars ready to use sooner.
- Goat Milk Soap Making – a specialty class focused on incorporating fresh milk for a gentle, creamy lather.
- Advanced Design & Technique Workshops – classes that focus on decorative
techniques, color work, and creative soap artistry.
Participants leave with their own handmade soap along with the knowledge and confidence to continue making soap at home.
Monthly “Make With Me” Soap Sessions
For soap makers who already know the basics, our monthly Make With Me workshops offer an opportunity to build new skills and experiment with advanced design techniques. Each month features a different theme, seasonal inspiration, or decorative method. These sessions are popular with experienced hobbyists who want to keep learning, practice new techniques, and spend time creating alongside other makers in a collaborative environment.
First Friday Make & Take Workshops
In addition to soap making classes, we host First Friday Make & Take workshops, a fun and relaxed way to try a new project in a single evening.
These quick workshops feature rotating projects such as:
- Bath and body products
- Simple skincare items
- Seasonal handmade gifts
- Creative DIY projects
Participants create something unique and leave with a finished product the same night. These sessions are perfect for beginners or anyone looking for a creative night out.
A Creative Community for Makers
More than just classes, our workshops are designed to bring together people who enjoy making things themselves. Many participants attend regularly to build their skills, meet other makers, and explore new techniques. From beginners discovering soap making for the first time to experienced artisans refining their craft, our workshops provide a supportive environment where creativity and practical skills come together.
